Introduction to Monotype Printmaking
A natural extension of design and painting, monotype printing is a water-based, non-toxic method of printmaking. We will explore printmaking techniques using a simple planographic plate. Learn ink application including positive and negative image building, colour mixing, paper preparation, multi-layer printing, and press procedures. Employ your creativity in a new way by exploring the possibilities of monotype printmaking.
