Drawing Inspiration: Develop a Series From Art History
Contemplate the process of creating a personal artistic style as you explore a variety of techniques and employ problem solving to create a sustained body of work in drawing, painting, or mixed media. Through research and investigation, distinguish an artist’s style that speaks to you and identify specific problems to focus on. We will visit museums and galleries and maintain a journal to document development and subject exploration. You will select an artist (historic or contemporary), examine their processes, and create a body of work in their style.
