Trans­form sci­en­tif­ic research, the­o­ries and term papers into clear and con­cise writ­ing with a more broad-based appeal. This course will focus on struc­tur­ing and telling a sto­ry, under­stand­ing what a gen­er­al audi­ence is look­ing for, and on spe­cif­ic tools and tech­niques to com­mu­ni­cate engag­ing con­tent relat­ed to sci­ence, tech­nol­o­gy, and the envi­ron­ment, includ­ing gen­er­al report­ing best prac­tices. This course is designed for any­one inter­est­ed in writ­ing about sci­ence includ­ing: tech­ni­cal writ­ers, sci­en­tists, med­ical pro­fes­sion­als, jour­nal­ists, and students.

Students from all educational backgrounds welcome. You can register for this course without applying and enrolling in a program.
