Creating Fiction from Our Conflict
Conflict, both external and internal, is the basis of plot. Without conflict, there’s no story — no character development. Good fiction is full of real ilife conflicts. Loss, divorce, unrequited love, messy emotions, lies, and much more. Through simple writing exercises, we will explore what conflict is and the four truths that rule conflict situations. We will also explore how conflict operates in our own life, and explore creative ways of putting it into fiction.
