From Page to Podium: Reading Your Work Aloud
Examine and refine your writing through preparing it or public presentation. When you deliver your words for an audience — whether of one or one hundred people — you can become your own editor and, thus, a self-sufficient writer. Come and learn from a professional actor (who coached, among others, the cast of the TV show Seinfeld) how to prepare physically and vocally, emphasize crucial words and phrases, and face the fear of reading for an audience. You’ll also find out how to use the presentation itself as a tool for self-editing and clarifying themes in our writing.
