Mining Your Life to Create Characters and Story
What’s the best way to use life experience to inform your fiction? We’re never truly inventing characters out of thin air; we mine our own experience for empathetic imaginings, foundational truths, as well as for the magical creative leaps that distinguish fiction from fact. Create terrific characters and, by extension, great stories, by applying coaching techniques to your creative process. Finding your passion and point as a writer can be the difference between obscurity and finding an audience. Through guided discussion and writing exercises, you will develop and focus your creative ideas. This course is most appropriate for emerging writers.
