Business Ethics

In the cur­rent cli­mate of pub­lic mis­trust, trans­paren­cy and account­abil­i­ty are vital to sol­id busi­ness orga­ni­za­tion­al process and prac­tice. This course is an intro­duc­tion to basic eth­i­cal con­cepts and prin­ci­pals. A sur­vey of eth­i­cal per­spec­tives will estab­lish the con­cep­tu­al foun­da­tion that stu­dents will then apply in con­sid­er­ing exam­ples and cas­es. Learn how to inte­grate and active­ly facil­i­tate var­i­ous learn­ing styles through case stud­ies, videos, group projects, and hands-on exper­tise. We will also address the use of ethics in solv­ing moral dilem­mas that arise in a vari­ety of orga­ni­za­tion­al and busi­ness transactions.
