Toxicology: Effects and Hazards
Controlling chemical exposure is important to the control of associated health risks and hazards. Worker exposure commonly causes irritation, allergy, toxicity and often disease. Occupational illness remains a significant factors in our societies overall health. This course provides a more detailed and in depth review of the subject of human toxicology and the health hazards associated with chemical exposure at work. The course builds upon the materials presented in the core course Fundamentals of Occupational Hygiene. Completion of EXOS 4622 is strongly recommended.
